Sentimental Sundays: Make Your Own Background Paper

Hello and welcome to a brand new challenge over at Sentimental Sundays! We are asking you to make your own background paper, easy peasy! Our sponsor this week is Oak Pond Creations.

I have a journal to share with you today.

This was a blank offwhite cardstock and I used god knows how many inks to make it into this! The big coral and peach flowers are handmade. Applied some texture paste on the edges and then inked it black.

Using Prima’s Romance Novel.

left: pocket with 7 tags , sentiment says "cant get enough of you"
right: space for photo - sentiment says "memories"

left: space for photo, sentiment says "say cheese"
right: 11 tag pocket - things i love about you.

left: backside of the 11 tag pocket has a space for photo, sentiments says; cheese and you make my world that much bright, thank you.
right: peekaboo flap with medallion.

Inside the peekaboo page there is space for phot/journaling. Sentiment says: this is why i love you.

That’s all folks!!

Drop by the Sentimental Sundays blog to check out the challenge details and DON’T forget to play along our MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND PAPER challenge!

Sentimental Sundays: Pack a Punch

Hello everyone!

It’s time for a brand new challenge over at Sentimental Sundays and this week the theme is Pack a Punch! We are asking you to use punches or die cuts on your projects plus a sentiment. The sponsor this week is Doodle Pantry. I thought I’d share a chipboard album I made on order.

This chipboard album is made from scratch. The homemade chipboard base was originally white, I inked and heat embossed it to make my own background. I hope you guys like it! The photos don’t do justice to this album really. They colours are gorgeous in person. It is 7.5x5.5 and the opening end is 5.5 inches

Yayyy! All done!! Stop by Sentimental Sundays to see what the rest of the DT cooked up! And please leave a comment if you want me to drop by your blog Smile

A Masculine Card!

Hellooooo! Lets start off with a good news! I won at Moxie Fab!! This is absolutely AWESOME! I am so stoked! I literally jumped after seeing my card featured there for their Star Power challenge! You can check out my winning card HERE

For now I have a masculine birthday card to share with you following the sketch at Cardabilities.

I clear embossed the black textured cardstock and it was looking absolutely amazing in person. Of course I had to do my grunge thing so I used white paint to add splatters. Here is another angle and you can see the clear embossing on this one.

I hope you liked it people! I am feeling absolutely perfect now. I promise to drop by your blogs and leave comments!

Have a super fab day!
